LDC provides space for families to build, test and explore using Legos. Workshops, two LEGO rides and a 4D cinema inspires creativity and imagination! This location is in a mall, so there are plenty of places to grab something to eat afterwards or to enjoy some retail therapy!
Home Activity: Take what you learned from the LDC and build with items found in your home! From chairs, to pencils, laundry baskets and blankets, try building an obstacle course in your living room or outside. Limited space or dreading cleanup? Clear small space on the floor and create the highest standing or most stable tower using paper, cups, tissue, markers or shoes! Perhaps go on an in-house scavenger hunt and have each person collect 3-5 random objects. Use all, yes all, of the items to build a stable structure! Once done, discuss your findings (or frustrations)! 😊The possibilities are endless!

If you are a fan of history and ships look no further than taking a trip to the USS Edson in Bay City, MI. Take the tour of the ship and learn about the ships travels. This is a unique stop on your next trip. Make your trip even longer by stopping by Bay City State Park to cool off in the lake or take a hike through the many hiking trails or stop by St. Laurent Brothers for a sweet treat.

This is a great way for families to enjoy a day on the lake and kayak to Michigan’s Greatest Natural Wonder.&#8221; Getting around on two wheels is another way to explore Port Austin in it’s awesome shoreline. Bike rentals are available.

The live animals are fun to visit and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The MLC will be distributing summer books there on June 8th from 5:30-7:30pm. Admission will be free and there will be free frozen custard!”
