NASA has been using six million pound Crawler Transporters to creep America’s biggest rockets from the Vehicle Assembly Building to the launch pad for over 50 years. Student reporter Kayley Jenks went to Kennedy Space Center to learn about the history of the Crawler, how it works, and what NASA’s been up to getting it ready to move our most powerful rocket yet, the Space Launch System!
